Thoughts And Music For These Strange Times

I went out to Tender Greens the other day to grab some take out and realized, when I walked in the door, that I hadn’t been there since all this Covid-19 madness. It was super strange to see nobody sitting there eating and congregating like I’m used to. As I drove home through the empty street of Pasadena, I found myself getting madder and madder at all of this. I, like everyone else, want it to end so we can get back to some degree of normal – whatever that’s going to end up looking like.
In the meantime, I remind myself that my God is more powerful than any pandemic, economic calamity or which political party is in charge. I love and appreciate my wife deeper, reach out to my family & friends much more often and, through it all, I’m grateful that we have the technology that allows us to see each other’s faces when social distancing has become the norm. We can make it though this so please be safe, reach out to those you care for and find something that will make you overflow with gratitude all day long. Love you!
